Legal education programs are organized by the Just For Indian Foundation. Legal literacy empowers people to make better decisions about the law. It promotes a general understanding of the legal system as well as general participation in the creation and implementation of laws. The term "public legal education" refers to a range of programs designed to improve public understanding of the legal system as a whole. In addition to these activities, the term refers to related fields of study and practice, as well as a larger professional and social movement that promotes a stronger societal commitment to legal education. Due to a lack of awareness among the intended beneficiaries, the majority of laws are ineffective during the implementation phase. People who are well-informed can demand justice, accountability, and effective solutions at all levels of government. The main goal is to raise people's awareness of their problems and inspire them to seek justice through the legal system. More than half of those who opt out of the process do so because they are apprehensive about working with attorneys, legal issues, and the legal system in general. The mere existence of laws is insufficient. What matters is how those laws are applied in the future. Legal illiterates may become fearful of and hostile to the law.
