The Just For Indian Foundation organizes legal awareness programs. Legal literacy enables people to be more empowered in matters of the law of the land. It encourages a general understanding of the legal system as well as participation in the creation and implementation of laws in general. The term "public legal education" refers to a variety of programs aimed at increasing public understanding of the legal system as a whole. Along with these activities, the term also refers to the related fields of study and practice, as well as a larger professional and social movement that promotes a stronger societal commitment to legal education. The majority of laws are ineffective during the implementation phase due to a lack of awareness among the intended beneficiaries. People who are well-informed are better able to demand justice, accountability, and effective solutions at all levels. The main goal is to raise people's awareness of their problems and give them the confidence to seek justice through the legal system. More than half of people opt out of the process due to apprehension and fear of working with attorneys, legal issues, and the legal system in general. The mere existence of laws is not enough. What matters is how you apply those laws in the future. Legal illiterates may develop apprehension and hostility toward the law.
